Welcome

I’m Dr. Chanin (PhD, LPCC, C-IAYT)—a depth-oriented, somatic psychotherapist and intuitive, dedicated to helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and heal what’s been held in your nervous system for far too long.

I see myself as a “wounded healer,” an archetypal concept seen as Depth Psychological (Jungian), yet it’s a universal concept with deep indigenous origins and a diverse history. As a “wounded healer,” it is through my own wounds, healing, and transformation that I discovered my calling to create a deeply empathetic and transformative space for my clients. My wounds and healing journey have been the best training for the space I hold for clients. I believe a therapist can only go as deep with their clients as they have gone themselves; resonance and direct experience are powerful antidotes.

For nearly two decades, I’ve walked alongside people on their healing journeys—helping them make sense of pain, reconnect with purpose, and build a more embodied way of living. I bring a grounded, heart-centered presence to this work.

My clients are often helpers, feelers, professionals, and seekers who want a grounded space to be witnessed and supported in real transformation.— individuals who want more than symptom management. The individuals and couples I work with are ready for something deeper, more sustainable, and more self-aligned.

I’m here to help you reclaim what trauma, loss, and systems may have tried to take away: your wholeness and your connection to Self.

My Philosophy

We all have the innate ability to heal - we simply need a witness.
Therapy, at its best, helps you come back home to yourself.

I believe my clients are the experts in their healing journey. I believe that an attuned, safe-enough environment can and has supported my clients to connect with their inner wisdom, their values, their gifts, and to begin to make honest choices devoid of self-harm from their own embodied awareness and knowing.

By using a relational, body-based framework that honors our innate ability to heal and by welcoming the Depths, what is unconscious becomes conscious, ultimately strengthening and repatterning neural pathways. The work is to use your intuition, at your pace, and through your direct embodied experience. Knowledge coupled with direct experience offers wisdom—— through this embodied wisdom, we achieve healing, integration, and equanimity.

Whether you’re carrying the weight of trauma, burnout, illness, relationship issues, or spiritual disconnection, I offer a warm, attuned space to explore the patterns holding you back—and gently move toward integration. This work is both scientifically informed and spiritual in nature.

This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about remembering we are sensate beings and by stepping into awareness of all of our sensate wisdom, we can experience wholeness, clarity, self-trust, and internal ease.

How the Therapeutic Container is Held

My approach—Embodied Soul Psychotherapy™ —is grounded in both clinical expertise and deep presence. It blends neuroscience, somatic psychology, Depth Psychological awareness of unconscious material/perceptions, the tension of perceived opposites, and spiritual inquiry to support healing at the nervous system and soul level.

I don’t follow a rigid formula. Instead, I draw from a rich toolkit of trauma-informed, evidence-based practices to meet you where you are.
